Basil: Look at its potential!

Lavender: A little more sad

I can't wait to have the house so I can start my backyard garden. I already know I want a citrus plant, like the Meyer lemon tree. Even if it doesn't bear fruit, it'll keep me entertained through the seasons.

Now I am really excited about landscaping. I'm going to have to be on top of it before winter hits in like, 7 months. That's actually a short period when I start working because I'll have to find energy in between work and hobbies on top of other house chores.

My Lemons
I think I can make out one lemon, maybe a leaf too. This was a quickie drawing. I was looking at trees to draw and realized I don't really like time-consuming projects. I'm also avoiding color, so many challenges are ahead of me. It would be great to draw pictures without needing to put a caption identifying it.

Anyhow, about lemons, probably the most used fruit in my pantry. It goes with everything, rice porridge, potatoes, soup of any kind, steak, seafood, pho...literally everything. So I must grow my very own lemon tree because buying a lemon from the grocery store at 50 cents each is just ridiculous.
