Turtle.Turtle.Turtle.

Ok, just one turtle.
I never had any interest in turtles, except for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Crush from Finding Nemo. Even the sound of turtle soup grosses me out. But what I do find interesting about turtles is how they lay their eggs in sand and how all the hatchlings migrate towards the water. It's almost poetic how they do it synchronously.

Some interesting turtle facts:
  • Like other sea turtles, Green Sea Turtles cannot pull their heads into their shell.
  • Tortoises are reptiles that live mainly on land, whereas turtles are mostly water dwellers.
  • Tortoises are herbivores, turtles can be either herbivores or carnivores
  • Lifespan of tortoises can be up to 150 years, turtles average 20-40 years.
